Independence

This is an independent guide. It is not operated by, affiliated with or endorsed by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), the Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation (Rapid Metro Gurugram) or the Noida Metro Rail Corporation. “Delhi Metro”, the DMRC logo and line names belong to their owners and are used here only to identify the services described. Our logo is our own and is not DMRC’s.

Where each kind of information comes from

Pages on this site no longer carry a source note of their own, so the full list lives here. Everything was read on 20 October 2026 unless a page says otherwise, and the about page explains the method in more detail.

  • Lines, stations, gates, lifts, platforms and parking: the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), from the public backend behind delhimetrorail.com.
  • First and last trains and running times: DMRC’s journey planner, weekday times, queried for every pair of neighbouring stations and both directions. DMRC publishes no weekend times station by station.
  • Frequencies: DMRC’s “average frequency during peak and off-peak hours” table.
  • Fares, cards and tickets: DMRC’s fare, Airport Express fare, smart card, virtual smart card, National Common Mobility Card, tourist card, QR ticketing and penalties pages, plus its press releases where they are the only published description.
  • Accessibility: what DMRC states for each station (lifts, escalators, Divyang-friendly gates, toilets).
  • Places near a station: DMRC’s own list of nearby places with its distances and walking times, completed with named places within 400 m from OpenStreetMap, © OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL. OSM walking distances are estimates.
  • Opening dates, former names and background: English Wikipedia (CC BY-SA), marked as unofficial on the pages that use it; DMRC press releases where DMRC has announced an opening itself.
  • Network totals (stations, kilometres, trains, annual journeys): DMRC press releases, cited with their date.
  • The map: “Delhi metro rail network” by PlaneMad, updated by RaviC, Wikimedia Commons, CC BY-SA 2.5, last updated in 2018; our version relabels 39 stations with DMRC’s current names and is shared under the same licence. It is not DMRC’s official map.
  • Nothing on this site is live. There is no real-time feed for Delhi Metro trains; the service board shows published service hours, not train positions.

Accuracy

Station information, first and last trains, running times, frequencies and fares come from the information DMRC publishes on its website and are refreshed when it changes. First and last trains are DMRC’s weekday times; services change on special days and at short notice. Always check DMRC’s website or app before you travel. We accept no liability for missed trains or decisions taken on the basis of this site.

Original text, page layouts and code on this site are ours. DMRC’s information remains DMRC’s. Information about places near stations is © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL). The metro map is an adaptation of “Delhi metro rail network” by PlaneMad and RaviC, Wikimedia Commons, licensed CC BY-SA 2.5; our adaptation (station names, logo and frame) is shared under the same licence.
