How the planner works
DMRC does not publish a train-by-train timetable, so this planner gives an estimate, and says so. It adds up the running time between stations from DMRC’s journey planner, 5 minutes for each change of train (DMRC publishes no interchange times) and, at every platform, a wait of half DMRC’s average interval for that section, day and hour. The first and last trains it respects are DMRC’s weekday times for each station and direction; DMRC does not publish them for weekends.
It knows how the lines actually run: Blue Line trains from Dwarka go to Noida Electronic City or to Vaishali, so between those two branches you change at Yamuna Bank; Green Line trains start at Inderlok or at Kirti Nagar; the Pink Line ring runs both ways and its Shiv Vihar branch is a separate train from Maujpur-Babarpur; the two Magenta Line sections do not connect; and the Rapid Metro loop in Cyber City runs one way only. The Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus – Dhaula Kuan footbridge counts at DMRC’s 15 minutes.
It covers the ten lines DMRC runs, not the Noida Aqua Line or Namo Bharat trains. It is not live: it knows nothing of delays or closures, so check DMRC’s line status on the day.
Stations, first and last trains, running times, frequencies and fares on this page come from the information the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) publishes on delhimetrorail.com (station pages, journey planner, fare and train-frequency pages), checked on 20 October 2026. metrodelhi.org is an independent guide, not run by DMRC or affiliated with it. Check delhimetrorail.com or the DMRC helpline before you travel.
