What we collect and what we do with it.
Who is responsible
The data controller is David Franco Aguirre (GoRandom), Bilbao, Spain, [email protected]. We follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and, for visitors in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address and message, used only to reply and kept for up to 12 months.
- Server and security logs: IP address, browser and page requested, kept by our host and by Cloudflare to run and protect the site.
- Analytics: if you consent, Google Analytics records pages visited and general device information, with IP addresses truncated.
- Advertising: this site may show ads served by Google AdSense. With your consent Google may use cookies to show ads based on your interests; without it, ads are not personalised. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
We do not ask for, and do not want, your smart-card number, Aadhaar or any other identity document.
Consent
Analytics and advertising cookies are only set after you accept them in the consent banner. You can change your choice at any time from the “Privacy and cookie settings” link in the footer. Under the DPDP Act your consent is free, specific and can be withdrawn as easily as it was given.
Who receives data
Our hosting provider in the EU, Cloudflare (content delivery and security) and Google (analytics and advertising, if you consent). Transfers outside the EU rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, object to processing, withdraw consent or nominate someone to exercise these rights for you, by writing to [email protected]. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD) or, in India, to the Data Protection Board of India.
