One of the newest stops on the Pink Line, Jagatpur-Wazirabad opened on 8 March 2026. In a press release of 15 March 2026 DMRC announced the inauguration of two new sections that Sunday, one on the Pink Line and one on the Magenta Line; the Pink section added eight elevated stations as part of Phase IV. This station is one of those eight elevated stations.

The name joins two villages, Jagatpur and Wazirabad. The station was formerly called Jagatpur Village. Trains take just over two minutes to reach each neighbour, Jharoda Majra on one side and Soorghat on the other. DMRC has not yet published a description of the station.
