Hindon River Metro Station
Red Line · Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh
About Hindon River metro station
Named after the Hindon River beside it, this elevated stop on the Red Line opened on 8 March 2019 and lies in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, rather than in Delhi itself. It is the last stop but one on this end of the line: Shaheed Sthal (New Bus Adda), the terminus, is less than two minutes away, and Arthala is the next stop in the other direction.
DMRC publishes no special description for the station beyond listing it among its elevated stations. The layout is simple, with Platform 2 for trains towards Shaheed Sthal and Platform 1 for trains towards Rithala, which makes this a straightforward through stop on the long Red Line.
First and last metro at Hindon River
Departure times from this station on a weekday, as DMRC’s journey planner gives them (checked on Tuesday 20 October 2026; the planner takes no date). DMRC does not publish separate Saturday, Sunday or holiday times for each station, and on special days it announces changes in advance. A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
