About Mohan Nagar metro station
Mohan Nagar belongs to the Ghaziabad extension of the Red Line, which DMRC proposed early in 2016. Trials were planned for the end of September 2018; the stretch was finally inaugurated on 8 March 2019 and opened to commercial passengers on 9 March 2019. The station is elevated, with side platforms, between Arthala, a minute and a half away, and Shyam Park.
It is in the Sahibabad Industrial Area locality of Ghaziabad, and the station’s surroundings are a mix of malls, a hospital, colleges and industry. Gate No. 1 is signed for Narendra Mohan Hospital, World Square Mall and the Inter-State Bus Stand, and Gate No. 2 for ITS College, the Mohan Nagar bus stand and Mohan Meakin.
