Opened on 3 September 2010, AIIMS is an underground stop on the Yellow Line beneath Aurobindo Marg, between Dilli Haat – INA and Green Park. The name comes from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, and its gates serve the hospital campuses on both sides of the road rather than any single neighbourhood.

DMRC’s own description is almost entirely a list of medical institutions: AIIMS hospital, Safdarjung Hospital, Vardhman Mahavir Medical College and the Jai Prakash Narayan Apex Trauma Centre, with Yusuf Sarai and Ansari Nagar East and West as the surrounding localities. The gates follow that split. Gates 1 and 2 face the AIIMS side, towards Kidwai Nagar, Ansari Nagar East and Yusuf Sarai, while Gates 3 and 4 lead to Ansari Nagar West, the post office, Ring Road and the Vardhman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjung Hospital complex.

DMRC does not publish separate Saturday, Sunday or holiday times for each station, and on special days it announces changes in advance. A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
