Delhi Aerocity Metro Station
Airport Express Line · South West Delhi, Delhi
About Delhi Aerocity metro station
When the Airport Express Line opened on 23 February 2011, Delhi Aerocity was not part of it: the station opened to the public only on Independence Day, 15 August 2011, to allow demand to build up. It was conceived and approved as part of the Delhi Airport master plan, to connect the metro with Aerocity, a part of Indira Gandhi International Airport.
The station is underground and lies between Airport (T-3) and Dhaula Kuan. DMRC places it near the NH-8 highway and close to IGI Terminal 1, and says the Aerocity hospitality district offers quick access to the airport and New Delhi Railway Station while sitting between the business areas of Delhi and Gurgaon. It also notes that Mahipalpur, with its budget hotels, is within walking distance.
First and last metro at Delhi Aerocity
Departure times from this station on a weekday, as DMRC’s journey planner gives them (checked on Tuesday 20 October 2026; the planner takes no date). DMRC does not publish separate Saturday, Sunday or holiday times for each station, and on special days it announces changes in advance. A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
