Dhaula Kuan Metro Station
Airport Express Line · New Delhi, Delhi
About Dhaula Kuan metro station
DMRC describes Dhaula Kuan as the only elevated station on the Airport Express Line. It did not open with the rest of the line: initially, trains passed through without stopping, and the station opened to the public on 15 August 2011. It lies between Delhi Aerocity and Shivaji Stadium.
Its second role is as a link with the Pink Line. A foot-over bridge with travelators connects it with Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus; it opened on 9 February 2019 and has 22 travelators, and DMRC gives the walk as 1.5 km, about 15 minutes. DMRC also notes that the station sits where road services for Rajasthan and Haryana meet, and that the line connects it with IGI Terminals 3 and 2 and with New Delhi Railway Station.
First and last metro at Dhaula Kuan
Departure times from this station on a weekday, as DMRC’s journey planner gives them (checked on Tuesday 20 October 2026; the planner takes no date). DMRC does not publish separate Saturday, Sunday or holiday times for each station, and on special days it announces changes in advance. A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
