Noida City Centre opened on 12 November 2009 and for nearly a decade marked the end of the main Blue Line, until the extension to Noida Electronic City opened on 9 March 2019. It is elevated, between Golf Course and Sector 34 Noida, with one platform towards Dwarka Sector 21 and one towards Noida Electronic City.

In September 2013 DMRC found during a routine check that the station was sinking, with major cracks appearing. The cause could not be established at the time; nearby stations were inspected and no problems were found. While repairs were made to the station and to pillars 174 and 185, trains ran at very low speed near the station and services there were shut for a few days. DMRC set up a committee to look into the problem, and an engineer was dismissed after its report.
