Construction began in 2015, and Sector 52 Noida opened on 9 March 2019 as part of the Blue Line’s extension through Noida. The station is elevated, with side platforms, and lies between Sector 34 Noida and Sector 61 Noida.

What sets it apart is its neighbour on another network. DMRC’s interchange page lists it with the Noida Metro’s Aqua Line station Sector 51 and signs Gate 2 “Towards Noida Aqua Line”. The Aqua Line is run by a separate operator, NMRC, with its own fare system, so the change means leaving one system and entering the other; DMRC does not publish a walking time for it.
