Construction work on Sector 59 Noida began in 2015, and the station opened on 9 March 2019 with the Blue Line’s extension through Noida. It is elevated, with side platforms, and sits between Sector 61 Noida and Sector 62 Noida.

DMRC adds nothing to its standard description of an elevated station. Its two gates are named after what lies beyond them: Gate 1 after U-Flex and Gate 2 after Mamura Village. Like the rest of the Noida extension it is in Gautam Buddha Nagar district, Uttar Pradesh, on the branch of the Blue Line that leaves the Vaishali branch at Yamuna Bank and ends at Noida Electronic City.
