It was earlier known as Pragati Maidan.

Formerly Pragati Maidan, this Blue Line station now carries the name of the institution beside it. It opened on 11 November 2006, elevated and with side platforms, between Indraprastha and Mandi House, and it gives access to the Supreme Court of India, Bharat Mandapam and the ITO office area.

Its gates reflect that mix. Gate 4 leads to a skywalk and Gate 2 to Mathura Road, while Gate 3 is an exit-only gate towards Bharat Mandapam’s Gate No. 10, open only during set daytime hours. Gate 1, signed for the Supreme Court, is currently listed by DMRC as closed. On the line, trains through the station continue beyond Yamuna Bank either to Noida or to Vaishali.

DMRC does not publish separate Saturday, Sunday or holiday times for each station, and on special days it announces changes in advance. A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
