Mundka was inaugurated on 2 April 2010 on the Green Line, and for eight years it was the end of the line. That changed on 24 June 2018, when the extension beyond Mundka Industrial Area (MIA) opened and Mundka became an intermediate stop on the way to Brig. Hoshiar Singh.

The station is elevated and has three platforms: one serves trains towards Brig. Hoshiar Singh, while two are signed for trains heading back towards Inderlok and Kirti Nagar. Trains from both Inderlok and Kirti Nagar run through here, since the two Green Line branches merge at Ashok Park Main.

Departure times from this station on a weekday, as DMRC’s journey planner gives them (checked on Tuesday 20 October 2026; the planner takes no date). DMRC does not publish separate Saturday, Sunday or holiday times for each station, and on special days it announces changes in advance. A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
