It was earlier known as Punjabi Bagh East.

Earlier known as Punjabi Bagh East, this elevated station opened on 2 April 2010 on the Green Line, one stop from Ashok Park Main, where the line divides into its Inderlok and Kirti Nagar routes. On the other side is Punjabi Bagh West, a separate station.

Because Ashok Park Main is the junction, Green Line trains from here run either to Inderlok or to Kirti Nagar, and passengers should check the destination before boarding. DMRC’s entry for the station says only that it is elevated. Gate No. 1 is signed for Punjabi Bagh Railway Colony, Jaidev Park and Bhagwan Das Nagar, and Gate No. 2 for Punjabi Bagh Transport Nagar, the post office and the power house.

Departure times from this station on a weekday, as DMRC’s journey planner gives them (checked on Tuesday 20 October 2026; the planner takes no date). DMRC does not publish separate Saturday, Sunday or holiday times for each station, and on special days it announces changes in advance. A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
