Two lines meet here, but they did not arrive together. The Pink Line station opened on 14 March 2018, and for four years trains on the Green Line ran straight past it on their viaduct between Punjabi Bagh and Shivaji Park. In late October 2019 it was decided to build steel platforms on that viaduct, and after several delays the new Green Line halt, also called Punjabi Bagh West, opened on 29 March 2022.

The two halves are linked by a foot over bridge 212 metres long. The Green Line platforms, 155 metres in length, reach that bridge by staircases and by two extra-large lifts on each platform. DMRC numbers the platforms as one station: 1 and 2 for the Pink Line ring, 3 and 4 for the Green Line. On the Pink side, trains towards Shiv Vihar terminate at Maujpur-Babarpur on the ring, where the spur is a separate service; on the Green side, DMRC runs trains from both Inderlok and Kirti Nagar, which split at Ashok Park Main.

A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
