The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi gives this underground Magenta Line station its name, and DMRC describes it as the key connectivity point for the institute. It opened on 29 May 2018, between Hauz Khas, two minutes away, and R.K. Puram.

DMRC also points out that Rose Garden, Deer Park and Hauz Khas Village are in close vicinity. The station has two platforms: Platform 1 for Botanical Garden and Platform 2 for Janakpuri West and Krishna Park Extension. Because the Magenta Line is currently split into two sections, trains from IIT stay on the Krishna Park Extension – Botanical Garden section; the extension from Deepali Chowk to Majlis Park is a separate service.

DMRC does not publish separate Saturday, Sunday or holiday times for each station, and on special days it announces changes in advance. A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
