Terminal 1-IGI Airport opened to the public on 29 May 2018 on the Magenta Line. It is an underground station with an island platform, between Sadar Bazar Cantonment and Shankar Vihar, and DMRC presents it as the key link to the domestic Terminal 1 of IGI Airport and to the Airforce Museum.

DMRC’s own description dwells on the interior: a painting and a stainless steel tree that it calls the key attraction for passengers, along with an SCVM. The station has five gates. Gate 3 leads to Domestic Arrivals and Gate 2 to Domestic Departures and T-1 parking, Gates 4 and 5 are both signed T-1 IGI Airport, and Gate 1 serves Mehram Nagar West and Dhaula Kuan. The station is on the Krishna Park Extension – Botanical Garden section of the Magenta Line, which does not run through to the Deepali Chowk – Majlis Park section.

DMRC does not publish separate Saturday, Sunday or holiday times for each station, and on special days it announces changes in advance. A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
