Ashram opened on 31 December 2018 as part of Phase III, on the Pink Line section between Sarai Kale Khan – Nizamuddin and Vinobapuri. It is underground and unusually compact: the station is about 151.6 metres long, against an average of 265 metres for the network’s stations.

To fit that footprint it is built on three levels instead of the usual two. Between the concourse and the platforms there is an extra mezzanine floor. There are two platforms on the ring: one for trains towards Majlis Park and Yamuna Vihar, and the other towards Maujpur-Babarpur and Shiv Vihar. The three gates lead to Maharani Bagh, to the NAFED building and to Hari Nagar Ashram, TVM and RCTM.

Departure times from this station on a weekday, as DMRC’s journey planner gives them (checked on Tuesday 20 October 2026; the planner takes no date). DMRC does not publish separate Saturday, Sunday or holiday times for each station, and on special days it announces changes in advance. A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
