East Azad Nagar Metro Station
Pink Line · East Delhi, Delhi
About East Azad Nagar metro station
East Azad Nagar came into service on 31 October 2018 as part of the Pink Line, on the elevated section between Krishna Nagar and Welcome. It has side platforms and has kept its original name. DMRC’s own write-up says only that it is one of the several elevated stations on its network.
The station is on the Pink ring. Platform 2 serves trains towards Majlis Park and Yamuna Vihar; Platform 1 is for the opposite direction, listed towards Maujpur-Babarpur and Shiv Vihar. Ring and spur run as separate services, so riders bound for Gokulpuri, Johri Enclave or Shiv Vihar change at Maujpur-Babarpur.

Departure times from this station on a weekday, as DMRC’s journey planner gives them (checked on Tuesday 20 October 2026; the planner takes no date). DMRC does not publish separate Saturday, Sunday or holiday times for each station, and on special days it announces changes in advance. A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
