Majlis Park is a terminus of the Magenta Line and a through station on the Pink Line. It was earlier known as Mukundpur.

Majlis Park opened on 14 March 2018 as a Pink Line station, formerly Mukundpur, and served as the end of that line until 8 March 2026. On that date the stretch between Majlis Park and Maujpur-Babarpur closed the Pink Line ring, and the Magenta Line section from Deepali Chowk opened as well, making this an interchange and the terminus of that Magenta section.

The station is elevated, but the Phase III plans first placed it at grade, on land to be provided by the Delhi Police. When that land was not available the proposal was revised and an elevated station was built, at extra cost. Magenta trains from here run only towards Deepali Chowk, because the link from Krishna Park Extension to Deepali Chowk is still under construction. On the Pink Line, journeys to Gokulpuri, Johri Enclave or Shiv Vihar mean changing at Maujpur-Babarpur, where the ring and the spur run as separate services.

Departure times from this station on a weekday, as DMRC’s journey planner gives them (checked on Tuesday 20 October 2026; the planner takes no date). DMRC does not publish separate Saturday, Sunday or holiday times for each station, and on special days it announces changes in advance. A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.

Frequently asked questions

No. The Phase III plan had it as an at-grade station on land that the Delhi Police was to provide. Because that land was not available, the proposal was revised and Majlis Park was built as an elevated station, which raised its cost above the provisioned amount.

It is one end of the Magenta Line’s Deepali Chowk – Majlis Park section, which opened on 8 March 2026, and Bhalaswa is its only Magenta neighbour. That section is not yet joined to the Krishna Park Extension – Botanical Garden section, so there is no through running.

Majlis Park is an interchange station on the Pink Line and the Magenta Line: you can change lines without leaving the station or paying again.
On weekdays the first train leaves Majlis Park at about 06:00 and the last at about 23:00, depending on line and direction (DMRC journey planner). DMRC does not publish separate weekend times for each station; the table on this page gives every direction.
₹43 Monday to Saturday and ₹32 on Sundays and national holidays for a single journey, according to DMRC’s journey planner. Smart cards and NCMC cards get a discount; see Metro fares.
