It was earlier known as Vinod Nagar West.

Built in Phase III and opened on 31 October 2018, this elevated Pink Line station pairs two place names, Mandawali and West Vinod Nagar; it was formerly written as Vinod Nagar West. It has side platforms and a single entrance, Gate No. 1, which DMRC signs for the Delhi Jal Board.

Trains reach East Vinod Nagar-Mayur Vihar-II in a little over two minutes and I.P. Extension in just under three. The Pink Line runs as two separate services, the ring and a spur, so anyone heading for Gokulpuri, Johri Enclave or Shiv Vihar changes at Maujpur-Babarpur.
