Sarojini Nagar opened on 6 August 2018 on the Pink Line ring, as an underground station between Bhikaji Cama Place and Dilli Haat – INA.

Its gate arrangement is one-way: Gate 1 is entry only, on the Sarojini Nagar Market side, and Gate 2 is exit only, towards Pilanji village. So arriving and departing passengers use different gates. The station is in the New Delhi district, on the ring, which DMRC’s frequency table treats as a circular service from Majlis Park in both directions. Trains towards Shiv Vihar end their ring journey at Maujpur-Babarpur, where the spur is a separate service.

A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
