South Extension went underground with the Pink Line on 6 August 2018. It has an island platform and sits beneath the Ring Road between Dilli Haat – INA and Lajpat Nagar, in South East Delhi. DMRC’s description notes only that it is one of the network’s underground stations.

Its position under the road is what makes it useful: the station serves both Part I and Part II of South Extension, which face each other across the inner Ring Road, and the two shopping districts are connected through a pedestrian overbridge. DMRC splits the four gates evenly, with Gates 1 and 2 signed for South Extension 1 and Gates 3 and 4 for South Extension 2. As a ring station, it is served by ring trains only.

A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
