Dilshad Garden Metro Station
Red Line · North East Delhi, Delhi
About Dilshad Garden metro station
Dilshad Garden opened on 4 June 2008 on the Red Line and was the line’s terminal station until 7 March 2019, when the Red Line continued beyond it to Shaheed Nagar and on towards Shaheed Sthal (New Bus Adda). DMRC describes it simply as one of the elevated stations of the Red Line, in the border area of Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.
On the other side its neighbour is Jhilmil, and Red Line trains from here run all the way to Rithala. The station has two gates, one towards the parking and one towards Dilshad Colony.
First and last metro at Dilshad Garden
Departure times from this station on a weekday, as DMRC’s journey planner gives them (checked on Tuesday 20 October 2026; the planner takes no date). DMRC does not publish separate Saturday, Sunday or holiday times for each station, and on special days it announces changes in advance. A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
