Rithala is a terminus of the Red Line.

Rithala is where the Red Line ends at its Delhi side, after a run that starts at Shaheed Sthal (New Bus Adda) in Ghaziabad. It opened on 31 March 2004 and is elevated; DMRC describes it as a terminal and interlocking station, where trains reverse. Its single neighbour is Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital.

The three gates are labelled by Rohini sector: Gate 1 towards Sector 5, Gate 2 towards Sector 24 and Gate 3 towards Sector 11. DMRC’s own description points visitors to Gate 3 for Metro Walk, which it calls a shopping mall cum amusement park, and for the Crowne Plaza hotel, both within walking distance. It also mentions the Japanese Park, with its playground, small pond and green space.

A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
