Shastri Park is built at ground level. DMRC describes it as an at-grade station on Line 1, the Red Line, near the Delhi Metro Rail Academy, an IT park and the Gandhi Nagar market. It opened on 24 December 2002, and the Red Line’s depot is located at the station.

It sits between Kashmere Gate and Seelampur, with side platforms. There are two gates: Gate 1 towards Gandhi Nagar market and Gate 2 towards the IT park. The station is in East Delhi district, and its platforms serve trains to Rithala and to Shaheed Sthal (New Bus Adda), the two ends of the line.

Departure times from this station on a weekday, as DMRC’s journey planner gives them (checked on Tuesday 20 October 2026; the planner takes no date). DMRC does not publish separate Saturday, Sunday or holiday times for each station, and on special days it announces changes in advance. A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
