Bata Chowk was opened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 6 September 2015, as part of the Violet Line extension through Faridabad. It is an elevated station between Neelam Chowk Ajronda and Escorts Mujesar. The junction it is named after takes its name from the Czechoslovak entrepreneur Tomáš Baťa, and DMRC notes that the station is also known as Indian Oil Bata Chowk.

Its three gates are each named after a building next to them: the Eldeco Mall at Gate 1, SilverCity Mall at Gate 2 and the Radisson Blu hotel at Gate 3. As at the other Faridabad stations, trains run towards Kashmere Gate in one direction and Raja Nahar Singh (Ballabhgarh) in the other.

DMRC does not publish separate Saturday, Sunday or holiday times for each station, and on special days it announces changes in advance. A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
