Below Aurobindo Marg, near the Lodi Road crossing, Jor Bagh opened on 3 September 2010 as an underground station with an island platform on the Yellow Line, between Dilli Haat – INA and Lok Kalyan Marg. DMRC’s description names the prominent places around it as Safdarjung Airport, the Airports Authority of India and the Air India office at Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan, with Safdarjung’s Tomb, Lodhi Garden, the Safdarjung fire station, Karbala Lane, Lodhi Colony and Jor Bagh itself nearby.

The station has also doubled as a gallery. In January 2015 DMRC and the India Habitat Centre put on an exhibition here from the archives of the Royals of Mewar, titled “The Habitat Initiative: Art in Public Spaces”, showing 18 portraits of the Maharanas of Udaipur.
