Despite the name, DMRC places this underground Yellow Line station just north of Saket’s A block and says it is nearer to Geetanjali Enclave. It opened on 3 September 2010 with an island platform, and trains take under three minutes to reach Hauz Khas or Saket.

The prominent places DMRC associates with the station are the PVR Cinemas multiplex, Max Hospital, Saket Court and the Select CITYWALK shopping centre, and its gate signs follow the same pattern: Gate No. 3 for Select City Walk Mall, Max Hospital and Saket Court, Gate No. 4 for PVR Anupam Saket, and Gate No. 1 for the Malviya Nagar police station and Geetanjali Enclave. The exit on the Geetanjali Enclave side opens inside that colony.
