Patel Chowk Metro Station
Yellow Line · New Delhi, Delhi
About Patel Chowk metro station
Patel Chowk opened on 3 July 2005 as an underground station of the Yellow Line, between Central Secretariat and Rajiv Chowk. Its gates are signed for buildings rather than neighbourhoods: Dak Bhawan, Sanchar Bhawan and NITI Bhawan; Jantar Mantar and the State Bank of India; and the Jeevan Tara Building.
DMRC’s description says the station houses the Metro Museum, and lists the Delhi Metro Museum (Sansad Marg) among the nearby places. It names as the nearest landmarks Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, Dak Bhawan, the Jeevan Tara Building, the Reserve Bank of India, Sanchar Bhawan, Kerala House and the historical site of Jantar Mantar. Cycles are also available for rent at the station. Beyond those, the station is used to reach the YMCA and YWCA, PTI, Yojana Bhawan, Akashvani Delhi and the Election Commission of India.

Departure times from this station on a weekday, as DMRC’s journey planner gives them (checked on Tuesday 20 October 2026; the planner takes no date). DMRC does not publish separate Saturday, Sunday or holiday times for each station, and on special days it announces changes in advance. A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
