Rohini Sector 18, 19 opened on 10 November 2015, when the Yellow Line was extended to Samaypur Badli, its only neighbour in one direction. The other is Haiderpur Badli Mor. The station is elevated.

DMRC’s description is brief: it calls the station close to a DDA residential area and to NCC Bhawan. Its two gates are named after housing societies, Divyajyoti Apartments for Gate 1 and Paradise Apartments for Gate 2. Being one stop from the terminus, it sees every Yellow Line train in both directions: towards Samaypur Badli on one platform and through central Delhi to Millennium City Centre Gurugram on the other.
