Dwarka Sector 8 was a late addition to the Dwarka stretch. It opened on 30 October 2010, together with Dwarka Sector 21, as an extension built to serve Dwarka residents better and connect them with the Airport Express. The station is elevated, with side platforms, and sits between Sector 21 and Dwarka Sector 9.

It has a single gate. DMRC describes it as leading to the Special Protection Group staff quarters and to the Dwarka Sector 21 Airport Express line depot. Trains from Platform 1 run towards Noida Electronic City or Vaishali, and Platform 2 serves the terminus one stop away.
