Jhandewalan has served the Blue Line since 30 December 2005. It is elevated and sits between Karol Bagh and Ramakrishna Ashram Marg, each about two minutes away, in Central Delhi.

DMRC publishes no description of the station, but its gate names are telling. Two of the five, Gate 1 and Gate 1 A, are signed for the Jhandewalan Devi Mandir, and Gate 3 for the Hanuman Mandir and Baba Lal Mandir. Through trains between Dwarka and Vaishali also call here, along with services for Noida Electronic City. The gates are numbered 1, 1 A, 2, 3 and 4.
