New Ashok Nagar opened on 12 November 2009 on the Blue Line, an elevated stop between Mayur Vihar Extension and Noida Sector 15. It has a straightforward layout: two platforms, one towards Dwarka Sector 21 and one towards Noida Electronic City, and a single gate.

DMRC describes it only as one of its elevated stations. Auto-rickshaws and e-rickshaws run from the station to Vasundhara Enclave, Dharamshila Cancer Hospital, the New Ashok Nagar police chowki and the Plaza and DDA markets, and e-rickshaws also go to Noida Sectors 15, 16, 18 (Atta) and 37.
