About Jasola Vihar Shaheen Bagh metro station
The station sits between two neighbourhoods and carries both names, Jasola Vihar and Shaheen Bagh. It opened on 25 December 2017 on the elevated Magenta Line, as part of Phase III, in South East Delhi close to the border with Uttar Pradesh. DMRC calls it a depot connecting station and notes that the Living Style Mall, Good Samaritan School and Sanjivani Hospital are close by.
A foot-over-bridge from Gate 5 crosses to the Shaheen Bagh side, landing on Allama Shibli Nomani Marg. The running time is five minutes each way, both to Kalindi Kunj and to Okhla Vihar. Trains here run on the Krishna Park Extension – Botanical Garden section of the Magenta Line.
