DMRC notes its earlier name, Pitampura.

The Red Line reached this elevated station on 31 March 2004, when it was called Pitampura. A second line arrived on 8 March 2026, when the Magenta Line section between Deepali Chowk and Majlis Park opened and turned the station into an interchange. DMRC’s own description still begins with “Pitampura Metro Station” and adds that it is also known as Madhuban chowk; Pitampura is now its former name.

Red Line trains run from here to Kohat Enclave and Rohini, Magenta trains to Deepali Chowk and Prashant Vihar. The Magenta service belongs to a section that is not joined to the Krishna Park Extension – Botanical Garden part of the line: the link between Krishna Park Extension and Deepali Chowk is under construction in Phase 4, so there is no through running. DMRC describes the north side as home to Madhuban Apartment, Shiva Market, Rama Market and Dundial Apartment, and the south side as Rohini Court, Vishakha Enclave and southern Pitampura.
