It was earlier known as Rohini East.

Until it was renamed, this stop was Rohini East, and DMRC’s own description still calls it the Rohini East metro station. It opened on 31 March 2004 on the Red Line, elevated, near Bhagwan Mahavir Marg, between Madhuban Chowk and Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital.

It sits between Rohini Sectors 8 and 14. Gates 1 and 2 are both labelled for Sectors 7 and 8, and Gate 3 for Sector 9, the Rohini Court and the fire station. The station is two stops from the line’s end at Rithala; trains from the other platform run across Delhi to Shaheed Sthal (New Bus Adda) in Ghaziabad. DMRC counts the nearby District Park among its tourist places.

DMRC does not publish separate Saturday, Sunday or holiday times for each station, and on special days it announces changes in advance. A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
