Prashant Vihar is one of the stations that opened on 8 March 2026, when DMRC inaugurated the Magenta Line section between Deepali Chowk and Majlis Park. It is elevated, in Central North Delhi, between Madhuban Chowk and North Pitampura.

The section it belongs to is not yet joined to the rest of the Magenta Line. DMRC runs it separately from Krishna Park Extension – Botanical Garden, and the Krishna Park Extension – Deepali Chowk link is still under construction in Phase 4, so trains do not run through. DMRC has published no descriptive paragraph for the station so far; its gates are signed for VIPS and for the Deventure Hotel and petrol pump.

DMRC does not publish separate Saturday, Sunday or holiday times for each station, and on special days it announces changes in advance. A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
