Jasola-Apollo Metro Station
Violet Line · South East Delhi, Delhi
About Jasola-Apollo metro station
It was earlier known as Jasola.
Jasola-Apollo’s double name describes the station’s surroundings: the Jasola area and the Indraprastha Apollo hospital, to which it is connected by a large foot-over-bridge. Formerly called Jasola, the elevated station was among those that launched the Violet Line on 3 October 2010, the day the Commonwealth Games were formally opened. It stands on Mathura Road, between Harkesh Nagar Okhla and Sarita Vihar, both about two minutes away.
The station is spread over a relatively big area. From its balcony a kos minar can be seen: one of the old distance markers, a kos being an Indian unit of distance, dating from the time of Sher Shah Suri. DMRC lists the station among its elevated stations without a longer description.
First and last metro at Jasola-Apollo
Departure times from this station on a weekday, as DMRC’s journey planner gives them (checked on Tuesday 20 October 2026; the planner takes no date). DMRC does not publish separate Saturday, Sunday or holiday times for each station, and on special days it announces changes in advance. A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
