Kailash Colony Metro Station
Violet Line · South Delhi, Delhi
About Kailash Colony metro station
Kailash Colony came into service with the very first section of the Violet Line on 3 October 2010, which was opened in time for the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony held that day. It is an elevated station with side platforms, set between Moolchand and Nehru Place, with a running time of a little over two minutes to each.
DMRC’s page for the station gives only its type. Its two gates are named in an unusual way, after shops rather than roads or colonies: Gate 1 after a Café Coffee Day outlet and Gate 2 after a Lal Path Lab.

Departure times from this station on a weekday, as DMRC’s journey planner gives them (checked on Tuesday 20 October 2026; the planner takes no date). DMRC does not publish separate Saturday, Sunday or holiday times for each station, and on special days it announces changes in advance. A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
