Nehru Place opened on 3 October 2010 with the first section of the Violet Line, in time for the opening ceremony of the 2010 Commonwealth Games held that same day. It is an elevated station between Kailash Colony and Kalkaji Mandir, serving the Nehru Place business centre, Kalkaji and Chittaranjan Park.

Only one gate is listed by DMRC, labelled for Nehru Place Market and Eros Corporate Tower. A Delhi Metro feeder bus service has been listed from the station to Malviya Nagar on the Yellow Line. Note that Nehru Enclave, on the Magenta Line, is a separate station with its own entrances.

DMRC does not publish separate Saturday, Sunday or holiday times for each station, and on special days it announces changes in advance. A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
