Adarsh Nagar joined the Yellow Line on 4 February 2009 and sits on the elevated stretch between Azadpur and Jahangirpuri, in the North Delhi district. It is a plain two-track through station: one platform for trains towards Samaypur Badli and one for trains through the city to Millennium City Centre Gurugram.

DMRC ties the station to the wholesale trade around it. Its own description places Adarsh Nagar near the Ch. Hira Singh Thok Sabzi Mandi, better known as Azadpur Mandi, which DMRC calls Asia’s largest wholesale market for fruit and vegetables. The same text points to two transport links within reach, Adarsh Nagar railway station on the Indian Railways network and the Azadpur DTC bus depot, and notes that the Shaheed Captain Vikram Batra flyover is roughly 2.5 km away. The four gates open onto Rajan Babu Road and the Adarsh Nagar side, Moolchand Colony, Bharola Village and Sarai Pipal Thala.

DMRC does not publish separate Saturday, Sunday or holiday times for each station, and on special days it announces changes in advance. A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
