Jahangirpuri Metro Station
Yellow Line · North Delhi, Delhi
About Jahangirpuri metro station
For more than six years Jahangirpuri was the end of the Yellow Line. The elevated station opened on 4 February 2009 and remained the terminus until 9 November 2015, when the line was carried on past Haiderpur Badli Mor to Samaypur Badli. Today it is a through station between Haiderpur Badli Mor and Adarsh Nagar.
DMRC’s description reads like a list of distances. Jahangirpuri Industrial Area is approximately 1.8 km away, Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital approximately 800 m, the Mukarba Chowk on the Karnal Bypass about 1.6 km and Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar about 2.2 km. DMRC also names Adarsh Nagar railway station and the GTK Bus Depot as the nearby links with Indian Railways and road transport.
First and last metro at Jahangirpuri
Departure times from this station on a weekday, as DMRC’s journey planner gives them (checked on Tuesday 20 October 2026; the planner takes no date). DMRC does not publish separate Saturday, Sunday or holiday times for each station, and on special days it announces changes in advance. A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
