Civil Lines opened on 20 December 2004 as an underground station of the Yellow Line, between Kashmere Gate and Vidhan Sabha. DMRC says it mostly serves people going to I P College, which it calls one of the oldest Delhi University colleges, the LG House, the Delhi Vidhan Sabha, Sant Parmanand Hospital, the administrative block of the National Centre for Disease Control (Ministry of Health and Family Welfare) and the Office of the Labour Commissioner of the Government of NCT of Delhi.

It is a compact station with three gates: Gate 1 is signed for Sant Parmanand Hospital, Gate 2 for IP College and Yulu bikes, and Gate 3 for Punjab National Bank.

A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
