Vidhan Sabha takes its name from the Delhi Legislative Assembly, which DMRC lists just 0.01 km from the station. It opened on 20 December 2004 on the Yellow Line, as an underground station with a side platform for each direction: platform 1 for Millennium City Centre Gurugram and platform 2 for Samaypur Badli.

In DMRC’s words, the station is located near Delhi Vidhan Sabha, the Directorate of Education and the Dr. Ambedkar National Memorial, and it is connected to the Maharana Pratap ISBT. Its neighbours on the line are Civil Lines and Vishwavidyalaya. Of its three gates, DMRC labels one for the DMRC officers’ quarters, one for the Civil Lines police station and one for an MCD office.

DMRC does not publish separate Saturday, Sunday or holiday times for each station, and on special days it announces changes in advance. A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
