DMRC notes its earlier name, Udyog Bhawan.

Until 14 February 2026 this underground Yellow Line station was called Udyog Bhawan, after the government building beside it. It was renamed Seva Teerth on that date; DMRC’s own station description still uses the former name. The station opened on 3 September 2010 and has an island platform, with Central Secretariat and Lok Kalyan Marg on either side.

DMRC places it beside Udyog Bhawan and in front of Vayu Bhawan, with Rafi Marg, Maulana Azad Marg and K. Kamraj Marg nearby. The places it names are offices of government: Nirman Bhawan, Sena Bhawan, the urban development and external affairs ministries, Air Force headquarters and DRDO. Gate 1 is on Rafi Marg next to Udyog Bhawan, Gate 2 on Maulana Azad Road, and Gates 3 and 4 on K Kamraj Marg.
