North Pitampura Metro Station
Magenta Line · Central North Delhi, Delhi
About North Pitampura metro station
North Pitampura is one of the newest stops on the network: it opened on 8 March 2026 with the Magenta Line section between Deepali Chowk and Majlis Park, which DMRC inaugurated together with a new Pink Line section that day. The station is elevated and lies in Central North Delhi between Haiderpur Badli Mor and Prashant Vihar.
For now this section runs on its own. DMRC operates the Magenta Line as two disconnected parts, Krishna Park Extension to Botanical Garden and Deepali Chowk to Majlis Park; the link between Krishna Park Extension and Deepali Chowk is still under construction under Phase 4, so there is no through running. DMRC has not yet published a descriptive paragraph for the station.
First and last metro at North Pitampura
Departure times from this station on a weekday, as DMRC’s journey planner gives them (checked on Tuesday 20 October 2026; the planner takes no date). DMRC does not publish separate Saturday, Sunday or holiday times for each station, and on special days it announces changes in advance. A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.

Frequently asked questions
It opened on 8 March 2026, as part of the Magenta Line section from Deepali Chowk to Majlis Park. DMRC inaugurated that section on the same day as a new section of the Pink Line, and announced both in a press release a week later.
No. The Magenta Line currently runs as two separate sections, Deepali Chowk to Majlis Park and Krishna Park Extension to Botanical Garden. The connecting stretch between Krishna Park Extension and Deepali Chowk is under construction, so trains from here do not run through to the southern section.
