Sukhdev Vihar opened on 25 December 2017 on the Magenta Line, between Jamia Millia Islamia and Okhla NSIC. It is an elevated station with side platforms in South East Delhi.

Unusually, DMRC’s own description defines the station by its neighbours: it is in close vicinity of Fortis Escorts Hospital and the Fonix institute, and very near Ardee School, Don Bosco School and Dev Samaj Modern School. The four gates follow the same pattern, two for the hospital’s IPD and OPD and two for Ardee School and Don Bosco School. The station is on the Krishna Park Extension – Botanical Garden section of the Magenta Line, which DMRC runs separately from the Deepali Chowk – Majlis Park section, with no through running between the two.

Departure times from this station on a weekday, as DMRC’s journey planner gives them (checked on Tuesday 20 October 2026; the planner takes no date). DMRC does not publish separate Saturday, Sunday or holiday times for each station, and on special days it announces changes in advance. A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
