Delhi Gate opened on 28 May 2017 as an underground station of the Violet Line, between ITO and Jama Masjid. Trains run from here towards Kashmere Gate in one direction and towards Raja Nahar Singh (Ballabhgarh) in the other.

Its five gates show what the station is used for: they are named for the Maulana Azad Medical College, G.B. Pant Hospital, Daryaganj, the Ambedkar Stadium and the Arun Jaitley Stadium. DMRC’s list of nearby places mixes these hospitals and stadiums with the monuments of the old city, from the Delhi Gate itself to Feroz Shah Kotla, Rajghat and the Ramlila Ground.

DMRC does not publish separate Saturday, Sunday or holiday times for each station, and on special days it announces changes in advance. A last train after midnight belongs to the previous evening’s service. “Not published” means DMRC’s own answer was inconsistent (arrival before departure), so we leave it out.
